Broka.uk Begins Development:
London, UK – May 10, 2023 — A new era of loan sourcing is on the horizon as development officially begins on Broka.uk, an innovative platform designed to revolutionise how brokers connect with private lenders. Spearheading the project is entrepreneur, CRM developer and finance specialist Kristian Wilkinson, who has identified a critical gap in the UK’s lending ecosystem: a lack of purpose-built sourcing tools for brokers working with private lenders, specifically Bridging Loans, Equity and Development Finance.
Drawing on his experience within the finance, IT and property industries, Wilkinson has observed first hand how fragmented and inefficient the current landscape is for brokers. While other areas of finance have long benefited from streamlined digital platforms, those dealing in private bridging & development finance are left grappling with disjointed communication, outdated systems, and time consuming manual processes. Wilkinson aims to change that.
“There’s no central place for brokers to access and compare private lenders efficiently,” says Wilkinson. “The tools currently available are either designed for retail mortgage markets or aren’t built with brokers in mind. Broka.uk is about giving brokers what they need—a dedicated, intuitive platform tailored to the way they actually work.”
Broka.uk will bring together the UK’s network of private lenders into a single, easy-to-navigate interface, allowing brokers to search, filter, and connect with lenders based on real-time criteria such as loan size, LTV, LTGDV, LTPP, term length, valuation type, niche criteria, and more. But Wilkinson’s vision extends beyond just search functionality. The platform will also be designed to streamline communication, simplify submission processes, and reduce the administrative burden on both brokers and lenders.
What will set Broka.uk apart is its broker-first design philosophy. Wilkinson is working closely with brokers during the development phase to ensure the platform aligns with their workflows and pain points. Lenders, too, will benefit from increased exposure and access to more qualified deal flow—all within a secure, modern digital environment.
As development ramps up, Broka.uk is inviting early interest from brokers and lenders who want to be part of shaping the platform from the ground up.
